Immediately after criticizing artists like Drake, Tyga, and Kanye West, the “Crank That” rapper created additional drama above the weekend by labeling Grande a criminal. The accusation seems to stem from Grande’s newly produced single “7 Rings,” which has been as opposed to Soulja’s 2010 hit “Fairly Boy Swag.”
The rapper caught wind of the comparison, and shared an Instagram online video that played clips of the tracks again-to-back:
So did Grande steal the “Rather Boy Swag” move? Soulja seems to think so.
On Saturday, the rapper responded to 1 of Grande’s tweets in which she thanked many of her close friends for inspiring “7 Rings.” Soulja, recognizing his name was not provided, demanded recognition for the monitor.
His tweets turned progressively bolder. Soulja went on to Grande to “end thieving his swag,” and also responded to her Mac Miller tribute submit by calling her “a thief.”
Grande has not responded to Drako’s tweets.
Princess Nokia has also instructed that Grande stole her seem on “7 Rings.” The NYC-bred rapper posted a video clip that in contrast Grande’s song to her 2017 track “Mine.”
“Does that seem common to you? ’Cause that seem seriously familiar to me,” Princess Nokia claimed. “Ain’t that the lil tune I created about brown girls and their hair? Hmmm… sounds about white.”
